Strike Like the Wind

[edit] Walkthrough

• Speak with Stewart, the quest giver, who will mark five locations on the map
  • C-2
  • F-2
  • I-3
  • G-7
  • D-5
• Visit each location and inspect the whirlwind to determine if the Wind Dragon is present and to begin a boss battle.
  • Note: the location that will begin the boss battle with the wind dragon is random each time.
• Attack the Wind Dragon. It will flee once it reaches 75% health.
• Go to the remaining stars and repeat the process until only 1 star remains.
• Attack the boss. The dragon will again flee.
• Unless at least 30 minutes are remaining, the quest is complete.
• If the 5th encounter was completed in time, go to the underground cavern at G-4 to start the final boss fight to kill the dragon and complete the quest.

[edit] Subquest

• Talk to Olie near the western door in the starting room.
• He's looking for a black bigelow.
• The bigelow will randomly appear in one of the following above ground locations:
  • I-4
  • D-2 behind Ahwanhee
  • D-4 bottom left
• The person who found the bigelow talks to Olie afterwards and informs him of the location.
• Finish the remaining dragon fights.
• After the 5th fight, Olie appears where it took place and will tell you the location of the dragon's lair.

[edit] Notes and Tips

• It's a good idea to have a full party of four people and to have everyone spread out, especially at the beginning.
• At the beginning, the person checking D-5 can go check F-2 if the dragon is not at D-5. The person going for C-2 should go straight there.
• The subquest does not need to be completed. Only the 5th boss fight have to be completed within 30 minutes to be able to fight and kill the dragon. Otherwise the quest will end after the 5th battle.
• Don't do too much damage to the tail during the encounters, or the dragon will flee before the tail drops an item.
