*The original WKC1 & WKC2 quests follow the Tier'd drops pattern below. However, Vellgander, Free Monster Quests and DLC quests (with a blue icon) follow a differnt pattern to that below.
|
- To be able to attack the weak Belly region, you must stagger the Rex by doing sufficient damage to its legs on the same side. If you do sufficient damage to two legs on opposite sides, the Rex will slump but will not expose its Belly.
- Pyredaemos Rex from Demithor in Peril will drop tier 3 items (Magestone Turret, Magebeast Mask+...) rather than tier 2.
Edit by : md_dorion
- Best place to farm Magestone Turret in WKC2 is at Garmatha, just outside the fortress. There's a save crystal, use it. Soft reset. Load game. If you leave the fortress and there's no Rex, soft reset. If there IS a Rex, break the Turret and break the Head. DO NOT KILL IT! Enter the Fortress. This is refered to as "Zoning". Now you will always exit to a Rex and can get the break drops again and again.
