[edit] Notes
- Attack the legs to cause the Dire Waterspider to slump, preventing it from taking any action and allowing you to ground attack the Head. (Attacking the head from this position will not flip it onto its back.)
- Attack the head to cause the Dire Waterspider to flip onto its back, giving you access to its weakest spot, the back.
- Whilst mages and archers can attack the back at any time it is best to aim for the head in order to stagger the spider and interrupt its attacks. The damage differnce is marginal.
