[edit] Introduction

Various bounties will be available, as you progress through the story. You can accept them at any Adventure's Guild in different cities and towns, including the item shop of your georama. You may only undertake ONE bounty at a time, meaning you have to complete/abandon a bounty hunt before you can accept another one. There are total of 41 bounties, but you only need 40 for the trophy, so you may skip one if you don't need the rewards.

[edit] Requirements

In order to unlock new bounties, some Requirements must be met or they won't be visible in adventurer's guild.

  • Specific story progress unlocks new bounties.
  • The bounty's area must be unlocked in story mode. For example, part 2 bounties won't appear during wkc 1 remastered story mode.
  • Some bounties are part of a "chain". So all previous bounties must be completed, to unlock higher ones.
  • Plaese note, that "Suggested Level" is not part of the requirements.

[edit] Hints

  • Depeding on your parties battle perfomance, you don't need the suggested level. Many bounties can also be defeated with lower levels.
  • You can access bounties in your georama at the item shop.
  • So you should wait until you have several bounties for the same area and then finish/accept new at save points. This will save you some traveling time walking.
  • But doing this will only give your avatar XP. So if trying to level up the other characters, then only collect during story mode.

Area: 		Balastor Plains 
Suggested Level:5+
Target: 	Popo (Polkan) HP 400 , Toto (Kibble) HP 400
Rewards: 	Heal potion x 10, Mana Potion x 5
Strategy: Straight forward, pick one and hit it until it dies. Then move on to the next one. It's a good idea for all participating characters to have Heal, as they hit harder and have more HP than normal monsters.

Area:		Greydall Plain
Suggested Level:10+
Target:		Dorgol (Treant) HP 2000
Rewards:	Estoc, Chromium Pearl lv.1, Guardian Pearl lv.1
Strategy: Same strategy applies here for this as with normal giant monsters. Bounty ones just have higher stats. If you have a Bow user, you can hit the head from afar, which may also yield you additional loot, but if not, just whack a leg with it's weakness and try and knock it off balance. It may take a while without a Knight, but you definitely don't need it to defeat this bounty.

Area:		The Nordia Tunnels 
Suggested Level:15+
Target:		Lahamu, Lahssi both (Basilisk) & HP 1200
Rewards:	Heal Potion II x 10, Mana Potion II x 5
Strategy: Target one and hit it until it dies. It's a good idea to go all out and use combos and get rid off one as fast as you can, since two hard hitting mobs will hurt if you let the fight linger on too long.

Area:		The Lagnish Desert
Suggested Level:15+
Target:		Surthor (Fire Giant) HP 3000
Rewards:	Copper Crosier, Chromium Pearl lv.2, Guardian Pearl lv.2
Strategy: Like the fire giants around this area. Clear off the surrounding enemies then hit the head with a Bow user (if you have one to score additional common loot if you desire) or just hit it's legs and knock it off balance and beat it until it dies.

Area:		Flandar Trail
Suggested Level:20+
Target:		Mabee (Giant Vespid) HP 1500, Yabee (Killer Vespid) HP 1500, Dobee (Poison Vespid)HP 1500
Rewards:	Heal Potion II x5, Goddess Tear II x5, Heal Drop II x5
Strategy: This one I found a bit challenging since you are dealing with 3 mobs and cannot transform(?) due to the terrain, and you cannot use aerial combos. It's a good idea to have recovery items like Heal and Mana potions and revival powders as the 3 bees may kill a character or two if they gang up on one. Set a ground combo, and try and kill one as quickly as possible. Once you kill one, it will be much easier. Good idea to have all characters learn Heal or stronger versions of it.

If you clear out the room to the south, you can cast fortify and then aggro one or 2 at a time, and drag them out to the room to the south, where you can transform, making this fight loads easier.

Area:		Greede's Underbelly
Suggested Level:20+
Target:		Arachne (Direspider) HP 4500 
Rewards:	Ripper, Chromium Pearl lv.2, Guardian Pearl lv.2
Strategy: This Direspider hits rather fast and hard, but it's not that bad. Clear nearby enemies so you don't have to deal with them mid-battle. Attack it's legs to eventually knock it down. Don't attack it's head while it's not down, or it will get enraged and inflict double damage. Everyone with Heal or Heal II will be beneficial. Keep HP up and you'll be fine. You can counter it's "haste" spell with "slow".

Area:		Greydall Plain
Suggested Level:25+
Target:		Valk (Megalo Tigris) HP 4000
Rewards:	Silver Bow, Chromium Pearl lv.3, Guardian Pearl lv.3
Strategy: It's like those Tigris you may have fought in Langish Desert, except much stronger. You'll want to clear nearby enemies before hitting Valk. If you have learnt Slow, it will greatly benefit you in this battle. Keep Slow up if you have it, and knock it down slowly. Always keep HP up, as it's charged attacks hits hard, and can kill your characters if you are not careful. If you see it charging for a strong attack, defend or move out of the way, if another character is it's target.

Target:		Briareus (Troll King) HP 5000
Rewards:	Iron Tiger, Chromium Pearl lv.3, Guardian Pearl lv.3
Strategy: A Troll King that hits very hard for our level. Like all bounties, you should clear nearby enemies so they don't cause unnecessary trouble while you are taking on the boss. Slow and Fatigue will be very useful here, if you have a Spear or SS user, cast Fortify on him/her and Threaten to tank it. It will keep damage to the minimum, and you don't have to worry as much about other characters, so you can focus on healing and damage dealing. Hit it's head if you have Bow or Elemental Magic users for possible additional loot, or otherwise chip it away slowly and knock it down while keeping HP and MP up.

Area:		The Bunker Lode Caverns
Suggested Level:25+
Target:		Iulo (Scorpion), Akto (Killer Scorpion) both HP 2400
Rewards:	Heal Potion III x10, Mana Potion III x5
Strategy: Two scorpions, it's like Give 'em The Shaft bounty. Similar strategy applies, go all out on one, and try and kill it. Once one is dead, it should be much much easier.

Area: 		The Lagnish Desert
Suggested Level:30+
Target:		Garmr (Wild Boar), Grendir (Jackal) both HP 2500
Rewards:	Heal Potion III x5, Goddess Tear III x5, Heal Drop III x5
Strategy: There will be Tigris around the area, and they are a problem if they attack you while taking on this bounty, so clear the nearby enemies first. Once you've done that, it's like Venom Genes and Give 'em The Shaft, take out one as fast as you can, and you will be fine. Not very hard.

Area: 		Frass Chasm

Target:		Zurthor (Pygmy Greaver) HP 5500
Rewards:	Castleguard Spear, Chromium Pearl lv.4, Guardian Pearl lv.4
Strategy: Greavers are annoying! They are ugly and hit hard. Slow will help a lot in this battle, so you have more time to cure and do more damage before it hits you again. It's a good idea to have a tank here, to keep it focused on one character. You should reposition your characters regularly, so it's attack don't hit them all. Keep HP and MP up and you'll be fine.

[edit] The Greaver's Revenge

Area:		Frass Chasm		
Suggested Level:30+
Target:		Odr (Poison Greaver) HP 6000
Rewards:	Hero's Axe, Chromium Pearl lv.4, Guardian Pearl lv.4
Strategy: This one unlocks once you've completed "Don't Fear The Greaver". It's very similar to the previous one, except the location and greaver type. There will be other monster present, so clear them out before going for Odr. Slow, Fatigue and Molify on Odr and Fortify on your tank will benefit you greatly. Keep up MP and HP and hit it until it dies. It has paralyzing and sleeping gas attacks, so a staff user with +zero reset is also very helpful, to remove these conditions. Make sure, he/she has items with para/sleep resist.

Target:		Gogmarr (Stone Guardian) HP 6500
Rewards:	Spectral Blade, Chromium Pearl lv.5, Guardian Pearl lv.5
Strategy: Treat it like normal Golem that hits harder. Slow it, fatigue it and you'll be fine if you keep up MP and HP. Clear nearby enemies first.

Area:		The Van Haven Waste	
Suggested Level:35+
Target:		Lindwurm (Wind Dragon) HP 7000
Rewards:	Farian Shield, Chromium Pearl lv.5, Guardian Pearl lv.5
Strategy: Like the Wind dragon nearby. Earth magic will be effective on Lindwurm. Hit it's tail for possible additional loot and it's back, once it's knocked down. Not very difficult, if you debuff him with slow and clear nearby enemies first.

Area:		The Van Haven Waste		
Suggested Level:35+
Target:		Infernus (Ice Dragon) HP 7500
Rewards:	Force Wand, Chromium Pearl lv.5, Guardian Pearl lv.5
Strategy: Unlocks after the completion of Golden Oldie. Treat it as other ice dragons, that you may have encountered in this area. It does hit harder than they do, but like Golden Oldie, if you clear monsters around it, debuff it, it will be pretty straight forward. Fire Magic is effective here.

[edit] Tyrannical Botanicals

Area:		The Lost Forest
Suggested Level:40+
Target:		Primadonna (Fatal Flower), Delphine (Umbral Flower) both HP 7000 
Rewards:	Heal Potion IV x10, Mana Potion IV x5
Strategy: These two have the ability to steal AP and cause status ailments. They also hit hard. Eliminate surrounding enemies first, and debuff them with slow and others. Like other multi-monster bounties, target one and try to kill it quickly. Once one dies, it will be much simpler. Keep MP and HP up. If things gets a little bit out of hand, you can run away since they move very slowly, and won't be able to catch up. Knights are less effective against them, because they steal their MP too.

Area:		The Dogma Rift	
Suggested Level:40+
Target:		Yakin (Primeval Guardian) HP 11000
Rewards:	Hematite Cudgel, Chromium Pearl lv.7, Guardian Pearl lv.7
Strategy: A Thunder golem that casts lost of annoying magic like +Tempest. Make sure you have the divine magic Unbind or items that cure paralyze. Good idea to have a tank to keep it focused on one character, and a Staff/Bow users or Mana Potions to recover MP as Yakin can steal your MP, and it can do it pretty often. Slow, Molify and Fatigue will benefit you here. If you have a mage, set his tactic to "heal first", because this golem is strong against all elements.

Area:		Flandar Trail	
Suggested Level:40+
Target:		Mimir (Elite Ice Giant) HP 11000
Rewards:	Maneater, Chromium Pearl lv.7, Guardian Pearl lv.7
Strategy: An Ice Giant with a shield. It hits very hard, and when it's in defence mode, like other elite monsters, you won't be able to do much damage to it. Slow and Fatigue will be helpful, especially while it is in defence mode. Save AP during defence phase, and use combos to do as much as damage to it while it is not in defence mode. Attacking the shield will end defence mode sooner.

Area:		The Bunker Lode Caverns (Room where Caaser got his Knight)
Suggested Level:45+
Target:		Pantagruel (Elite Troll) HP 16000
Rewards:	Faerie Bow, Chromium Pearl lv.8, Guardian Pearl lv.8
Strategy: From here, Heal III will be needed, as Heal II doesn't really cover the damage from the bounty monsters from now on. This monster is like Elite Troll Kings with a shield, but it hits very, very hard. You'll want to clear nearby enemies first too. Slow and other debuffs will be helpful. Like The Cold One, save AP when it is in defence mode, and do as much damage as you can (while keeping yourself alive) when it is not in defence mode. Attacking the shield will help again,to end defence mode sooner.

Target:		Gargantua (Elite Troll King) HP 15000
Rewards:	Agito, Chromium Pearl lv.8, Guardian Pearl lv.8
Strategy: Unlocks after completing What The Troll Stole. It is pretty much exactly as the same as the previous bounty, but hits a tiny bit harder. If you beat the previous one without too much problem, this one will be cake too.

Area:		Frass Chasm	
Suggested Level:45+
Target:		Eka, Dovi, Tori all of them (Spider Sprog) & HP 6000 for everyone
Rewards:	Elixir x3, Revival Herb x3
Strategy: 3 Spiders that can paralyze you, which is pretty annoying. If you have +Slow or +Inert Field, use it on them to slow them. Don't use Threaten, as three on one means certain death for the tank if you are not careful. As long as slow is on the monsters, it shouldn't be too bad. Focus on one monster, and kill it quickly before moving on to the next. Once one dies, it will be much easier. Paralyze healing items and magic are needed for this fight, or a staff user with +zero reset.

Area:		The Lagnish Desert
Suggested Level:45+
Target:		Aestal (Dire Firespider) HP 16000
Rewards:	Emerald Spear, Chromium Pearl lv.8, Guardian Pearl lv.8	
Strategy: Be careful, dire firepiders in lagnish desert count to the strongest enemies in story mode. They do lots of damage, spawn babies and can haste themselves + other enemies nearby. Before the fight, kill nearby enemies. Using a knight is recommended for this fight, so be sure to have full AC on him/her and mana potions. When it summons baby spiders, use Area Of Effect moves or spells to get rid of them. They do possess a threat if you don't dispose them, since they can slow you and reduce defense. Debuff it with "fatigue" and counter it's haste ability with a "slow" spell, whenever it uses it. Focus your attacks on one leg or it's head, to knock it down. Then attack it's back, because it has lower defense. Make sure to stop attacking the back or belly when it recovers, or it will get enraged sooner, doubling it's damage.

Suggested Level:50+
Target:		Weald (Dire Windspider) HP 18000
Rewards:	Brilliant tabar, Chromium pearl lv. 8, Guardian pearl lv. 8
Strategy: The hard bounties start at this point. You will need your avatar knight form very often now, so be sure to complete the Knight Moves Bounty hunt, before continuing. If you transform into a knight with slash attacks (any sword), this battle will be very easy.

Target:		Golutus (Elite Fire Giant) HP 17500
Rewards:	Sacred axe, Chromium pearl lv. 8, Guardian pearl lv. 8
Strategy: The enemy is a Fire Giant with a shield. Yulie's knight is the best option for this one, because he is weak to thrusts and she has good support skills. When he enters defense mode, attack his shield until it breaks. Otherwise use the standard big enemy tactics.

Suggested Level:50+
Target:		Python (Solum Wyvern) HP 16500
Rewards:	Dragonslayer, Chromium pearl lv. 8, Guardian pearl lv. 8
Strategy: Before the fight, kill nearby enemies. Using a knight is recommended for this fight, so be sure to have full AC on him/her and mana potions on the character you will control. The knight should have a sword, because this enemy is weak to slash attacks and wind spells. Control a bow user and focus on using dark shots on him, to avoid getting damaged. Otherwise use slash attacks or wind magic. You can also debuff it with "fatigue" and "slow" spells, to reduce it's damage potential. Focus your attacks on one leg/wing, to knock it down. Then attack it's head. Make sure to stop attacking the head when it recovers, or it will get enraged, doubling it's damage. Should it start flying, attack it's tail so it will come down again. Should you control a bow user while it flies, stay away so you're outside the range of it's cyclone attack.

Strategy: Transform into a knight with a sword, as he is weak against slashes. Use standard big enemy tactics, but avoid letting your knight's MP drop below 30 or you will revert back when he uses his Mana Leach attack. Keep slashing and you will win.

Area:		Balandor Castle Secret Passage
Suggested Level:55+
Target:		De Rose, Rosalle, Allora (Succubus)& all of them HP 6500
Rewards:	High elixir, Revival salve (3), Lifestone
Strategy:This Fight is very difficult, because the targets are succubi with body-shield. They also deal lots of damage, so they can easily kill a character, if the wrong strategy is used. As soon as the fight starts, a knight should be summoned, so they attack him, but let the AI control him. You must keep an eye on the knights MP, or they will steal it all. To fight them, either use +Holy Light and watch your knight beat them (heal/use MP potion) or use a mage and fire magic instead. Once one of them is dead, the fight is much easier, so a knight is not necessary anymore. Set your third party member to "heal first", equip him with paralyze resist items and give him/her spells that heal paralyze. +slow, +fatigue and +protect also help a lot, to reduce their damage, while +haste increases your own.

Strategy: See Eviction Notice strategy section, but avoid element magic, because he is strong against all elements. You should equip your knight with a hammer or use yulie's knight, because he is weak to strike attacks. Be careful when he uses his Meteor Ray AOE attack, because it damage everyone.

Area:		Balandor Castle Secret Passage
Suggested Level:60+
Target:		Avaluis (Wraith) HP 18000
Rewards:	Storm rod, Chromium pearl lv. 9, Guardian pearl lv. 9
Strategy: One of the hardest bounties. He is a Wraith, so he summons Succubi, has a Body-Guard and HP/MP draining attacks. He also has an "invisible mode", where he is protected by Body-Guard and Mind-Guard and becomes enraged. He only seems to activate invisible mode after holy light is used on him (NEEDS CONFIRMATION). He does not take damage during invisible mode, but he can still be debuffed. It is recommended that the player controls a mage (staff/element/divine magic) during this fight and a knight is summoned, as soon as the fight starts. He is weak against slashes, so use a knight with such attacks. Whenever he spawns Succubi, instantly use fire AOE magic or holy light (but avoid holy light +), to kill them all as fast as possible. Sustain debuffing spells, like slow and fatigue on him. Remember to replenish your knight's mana, because he and his minions can drain MP. Use fire magic to kill him, but avoid holy light, or he will go into invisible mode.

Target:		Aesthan (Wyvern Rex) HP 22000
Rewards:	Ogre’s bludgeon, chromium pearl lv. 9, guardian pearl lv. 9
Strategy: See Eviction Notice strategy section, and don't use elemental attacks, because he is strong against all elements and strike.

Area:		The Bunker Lode Caverns
Suggested Level:60+
Target:		Soltorn (Earth Dragon), Galtorn (Fire Dragon) & both Hp 22000
Rewards:	Death’s Gaze, Chromium pearl lv. 9, Guardian pearl lv. 9
Strategy: The dragons are on lowest floor of the cavers, in left and right elevator. See Eviction Notice strategy section, but use wind and ice elemental attacks accordingly. You should equip your knight with a hammer or use yulie's, because they are weak to strike attacks.

Rewards:	Dark Stalker, Chromium pearl lv. 9, Guardian pearl lv. 9
Strategy: See Eviction Notice strategy section, but use earth elemental attacks instead. You should equip your knight with a hammer or use yulie's knight, because he is weak to strike attacks. This fight is easy, since he uses mostly magic attacks and knight's RES is high, so his attacks will cause low damage. Be sure to destroy his summoners, to prevent him from summoning sylpheeds and use earth elemental AOE attacks, to get rid of them. Dark Shot is also useful, to avoid his "Wind Canceller" attack, which reduces wind RES. He always uses it, after he unleashed a burst of magic.

Area:		The Lagnish Desert
Suggested Level:65+
Target:		Attanir (Efreet) HP 24000
Rewards:	Demon robe, Demon gloves, Demon culottes, Demon boots LV 70+
Strategy: This bounty unlocks, once Staring into the Abyss is completed. See Eviction Notice strategy section, but use ice elemental attacks instead. You should equip your knight with a hammer or use yulie's knight, because he is weak to strike attacks. This fight is easy, since he uses mostly magic attacks and knight's RES is high, so his attacks will cause low damage. Be sure to destroy his summoners, to prevent him from summoning salamanders and use ice elemental AOE attacks, to get rid of them. Dark Shot is also useful, to avoid his "Fire Canceller" attack, which reduces fire RES. He always uses it, after he unleashed a burst of magic.

Target:		Procnix (Ignis Wyvern), Haernix (Glacies Wyvern) & both HP 24000
Rewards:	Mirage armour, Mirage gauntlets, Mirage faults, Mirage sabatons all LV 70+
Strategy: See Eviction Notice strategy section, but use fire/ice elemental attacks accordingly.

Area:		Greede's Underbelly
Suggested Level:70+
Target:		Haltus (Netherwyrm) HP 30000
Rewards:	shadow armour, shadow gauntlets, shadow cuisses, shadow sollerets
Strategy: THE HARDEST BOUNTY IN THE GAME! It unlocks after completing Blasphemy!. For this fight you need all elder equipment, so your knight survives his attacks. See Rifts for locations. All your characters must have 10 mana II & III potions and Charge drinks are recommended. Your knight needs the best Healing potions and revival herbs, in case everyone else dies. His most powerful attack "DARK INFERNO" deals 500 to all + HP Leak, so keep your knight's HP above that at all times. Don't control your knight, but either a mage or a bow user. Sustain debuffs on him (slow, fatigue and dark shot) to reduce his damage. Use either Healing Breeze II or +Zero Reset to counter the HP Leak effect. Remember to defend when he charges for an attack, to reduce damage and avoid being knocked down. Keep healing your knight, because he is the one that can survive his terrible attacks.

Target:		Falak (Wyvern Regina) HP 29000
Rewards:	hellion mail, hellion fists, hellion trousers, hellion boots  
Strategy: See Eviction Notice strategy section, and avoid elemental attacks, as well as strike, because he's strong to those.

Area:		Dogma Rift (Rift)
Suggested Level:55+
Target:		Ark Incorruptus HP 20000
Rewards:	Knight for avatar, when talking to Frambroise in Balandor Castle.
Strategy: You can find the target in the black hole in dogma rift. Yulies knight is the best option here, because she can land thrust attacks and this guy is harder than the knights you fight along the way. Don't control your knight, but control either a mage or bow user. Debuff him with slow, fatigue and dark shot. He has an annoying skill called "Knightly Majesty", that halves physical damage of the whole party, so attacking him with element magic is the best way to end the fight quickly.
